Answers to some frequent inquiries regarding machine configuration:

Information is relevant primarily to Rutland (GS, GSX, LT) and Typoon (ELA, HOZ, INF) class machines. Micron class machines are not yet prevalent on the used market and 288's are a class by themselves. I have addressed SA (249, 248. 260) where it seemed relevant. I will gladly answer questions regarding these or any others by e-mail link at the bottom of this page.

OTHER INFO

Speed Up: This is confusing as far as a machine configuration, at various times it meant various different things to the OEM, therefore a machines original configuration can say "Speed Up" and you still don't know.  It encompasses: CPU, MINT Cards, Servo Motors, and software version. If JDT designates a machine as "Speed Up", it has: 8meg memory 486 CPU Board, Green LED Mint Cards, 1000  count encoder on Rising Table, Camera X and Camera Y motors, and is running at least 4.0 software. "Speed Up" is only relevant to GSX / LT machines. I will only list "speed up" on a machine configuration if has been JDT Serviced.

Machine Voltage Settings: All automatic machines can be set for desired voltage (single phase 100 - 240VAC). The only time this is limited is when there is an internal vacuum pump for the Screen Cleaner, in this case machine voltage range (100-120VAC or 200-240VAC) is dictated by the pump installed. Configuration / Serial Plate designates the setting when the machine left the factory. Manual machines (248, 249. 260) have their voltage pre-set per configuration. I will only list a voltage setting if it is for some reason "fixed".

Board Flow: Board transfer on all automatic machines is a software setting. Any machine can be configured for: L>R, R>L or single ended operation. The only exception being a 260PT (If any of these God-forsaken beasts still exist.) which is dedicated per it's original build, primarily L>R.
